Having barely shoulder-length hair, I usually opt for blow-drying, product-adding, straightening, curling, the works. Basically, I'm drying out my hair to bits. So this spring, I'm going for a more natural, wavy (and slightly messy) hairstyle. Every once in a while, I have to grab the straightener to tidy up a few crazy strands, but this look definitely requires less heat damage. Many use leave in conditioners and sprays to get a more wavy look, but those tend to make my hair appear slightly greasy, so I usually end up going all natural. If some days I wake up and my hair is absolutely ridiculous, I just grab a few bobby pins and a hair-tie and throw it into a messy bun. One can never go wrong with a messy bun!

Scarves!
Being one of my favorite accessories of the winter season, scarves both complete an outfit and keep you nice and toasty during a snow fall. If the region that you live in happens to have warm weather, such as my homeland of sunny California, then one could opt for a light fabric handkerchief rather than a toasty knit scarf. Scarves are always a fun accessory because they can be worn in so many ways, making getting dressed a fun game. I usually go for a chunky knitted sweater made by my father's mother, "Grammy", the maker of each piece in my collection of knitted wear.
Hats!
They're the perfect accessory to warm up on a cold chilly night or even just to add that extra flare to an outfit. Oversized knit hats are my personal favorite (wearing one currently), but I also like the look of a simple bowler or faux fur trapper hat. Outfits don't have to be downplayed to wear these hats, which is always a bonus.

High-waisted pants!
High waisted pants are definitely one of the more daring articles of clothing fashion wise (this goes for harem pants especially - namely the ones with the extremely low crotch). High-waisted pants create instant long legs, extending the waistline up quite a few inches. With the billowing upper portion of the harem pants, the most chic look is created with a very slim-fitted top and heels. Of course, that is not required to create a fashionable outfit. Many opt for a more casual look, choosing say moccasins to replace the stilettos and a tee shirt instead of the cami.
Nanananananana Batsleeves!

The sense that I've got about Bat-sleeved shirts is that you either love them or you hate them, just like harem pants. I personally love these unique, low armpit blouses as they are a unique, casual approach to a plain tee shirt. At the moment I am wearing a bat-sleeved baseball-style tee shirt - just to accentuate my love for these shirts. Rather than grabbing the cozy baggy tee, I prefer getting this more fashionable choice.

Vests!
Vests. One of my favorite articles of clothing that just happens to be great for all types of weather. There's the thin knit vest for summer, the thicker denim vest for the cool spring and fall, and the cozy faux fur vest for those chilly winter days. Not only are they great year round, but they also can be altered to fit anyone's style. I personally prefer a bold denim vest with studs on the collar, while other prefer a thin lace vest. It's a great addition to any outfit - formal or casual - and adds that extra bit of edge you were looking for.
Boy meets Girl
If it looks so good on men, why not on women too? Boyfriend blazers, skinny ties, and oxfords are my personal favorites of menswear apparel. Pairing either a blazer or some oxfords with a girly dress is a lovely ensemble that keeps you from looking too boyish. If you're daring and don't ming double takes, go for the whole getup of a white button-up, skinny tie, and a blazer. Maybe even a bowler hat as well, such as Rachel Bilson's addition.
